In the last 20 years we’ve made remarkable gains in the fight against global poverty. Looking ahead, the challenges to end extreme poverty, close the gap on inequality and address global warming are all within our reach.

In September world leaders launched the Global Goals to meet these challenges, and in December there is promise of an international agreement to tackle climate change. These are important milestones and an incredible opportunity for our leaders to improve Australia’s current standing on global development and climate action.

Come and join the conversation on what’s possible! Featuring special guest speaker D’Arcy Lunn, The End of Polio Campaign Manager, Live Below the Line Project Advisor and Ambassador with Unicef, International Young Professionals Foundation and RESULTS. Craig Laundy MP will also share his views on Australia’s role to fight poverty, inequality and climate change.
